THE THIRD EDITION of the Bangladesh District Cup Cricket Competition is back this week. The organisers are delighted to announce Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd is the Title Sponsor for 2022.  

The competition will be called the Islami Bank Bangladesh District Cup 2022. In 2022, twelve Districts will be taking part. Past winners are:
2019 Winners – Dhaka
2021 Winners – Sylhet
Who will be crowned champions this year?

Participants in 2022 are: Bramonbaria, Chattragram, Cumilla, Dhaka, Habiganj, Feni, Khulna, Moulvibazar, Mymensingh, Noakhali, Sunamganj and Sylhet.

Group matches will take place between 6th September to 8th September 2022, and the final will be on Saturday 10th September 2022. The venue is the Grassroots Trust Ground, Seven Kings Park, Epsom Road, Ilford IG3 8QP.

Sayfur Rahman – captain of the holders, Sylhet – said, “This tournament is getting stronger with each passing year. There will be some phenomenal talent on display. I urge all supporters to come along and cheer on the teams as this will be a great spectacle which will be enjoyed by cricket fans all over the world.”
