MILK ALLERGIES can have serious consequence – they can even be fatal. When Sunrise International Foods Ltd realised that its Shama Falooda Almond flavour drink contained milk, it took swift action.

The problem was not the presence of milk but it was not declared on the label. So someone with a milk allergy could check the label, assume the drink was suitable for them to consume – and end up with serious consequences. That’s why Sunrise International Foods Ltd is recalling the product.

The affected product comes in a pack size of 290ml. All batches, with all “best before” dates are affected. If you have this product at home and you have an allergy to milk, you should not drink it. You can take the product to the shop where you bought it and you should receive a full refund. No receipt is needed.
