HOW DO young people experience air pollution? And what do they think should be done about it? Come and see!
This weekend Tower Hamlets Council is staging The Air We Inherit – a youth-led art exhibition and festival which explores these themes. Families, residents, scientists and policy-makers are invited to connect, learn and share ideas for cleaner air.
Drop in to create your own artwork, take part in interactive activities, and explore air quality through creativity and conversation.

=====================================
Air quality is a problem in Tower Hamlets. Three major roads cross the borough from east to west, carrying commuter and commercial traffic through Tower Hamlets. The London Mayor requires all London Councils to agree an Air Quality Action Plan to improve air quality – and to report, publicly, on what they have done. The last Annual Report on Air Quality in Tower Hamlets was the 2024 Report, issued in June 2025. The data in this report is rather old, and we have asked the Cabinet Member for a Clean and Green Borough to let us know when the next report will be published – it should be due any day now.
