Chase the Moon race heads for QEO Park

IF YOU FANCY a pre-Christmas 5k or 10k run on 8th December, RunThrough has just the thing. Head over to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Runners are invited to raise money for Macmillan.

The “Chase the Moon” runs start at 7pm – by which time the moon should be clearly visible. The course is clearly marked, and stewards will be on hand to ensure everyone finds their way.  It’s a flat course and the organisers report that it has great potential for runners to chip-in their personal best time.

We are all crossing our fingers in the hope that the race will not be affected by any new anti-Covid safety measures. Runners who cross the finishing line will receive a medal, a free official event photograph, water, fruit and a flapjack and confirmation of their finishing time.
